Beluga plays at Pole Aquarium in Dalian
The building of Pole Aquarium has two floors, divided into 5 sections, namely, Large Polar Animals, Polar Experience, Animal Knowledge, Mysterious Ocean world, and Polar Animal Performance.
There are altogether 153 polar animals of 11 species, like seals, polar bears, sea otters and sea lions.
Marine Animal Performance features a mascot of Dalian – the polar Beluga, the couple of white whales called Peter and Gaja quite often give the special performance to the spectactors.
Another show is given by 4 bottlenose dolphins, and there is aslo the showcase with sharks, fed by the workers in front of watching crowds.
The special 360 channel goes into the waters which some 3,000 fish flying around spectators.
The Polar Animals section features the examples of huge, half ton eaach, polar bears, the true Kings of the North.
Animal Knowledge sections boasts the place, where anyone can tuch fur of seals or sea dogs.
